The number of objects displayed in the StorageGRID System Manager is larger than the actual number

After Upgrading StorageGRID from 11.4 to 11.5

Issue

  • The actual number of objects, as counted by the client side, is only a few dozen. However, the StorageGRID System Manager GUI displays tens of thousands instead.
  • The ILM Queues graph in Grafana peaks at around 150K.

  • Reducing the speed of the Leaked Object Cleanup does not resolve the problem.
  • Decreasing the ILM Scan rate brings the ILM Queues down to 15K, but it doesn't correct the number mismatch issue.
