StorageGRID reports Error running HeadObject command listing objects in Veeam bucket

  • S3 Buckets with Versioning Enabled

Issue

  • Unable to delete objects or bucket from StorageGRID that was previously used with Veeam.
  • Listing left over objects via S3 Console in Tenant Manager errors with:
    • Error running HeadObject command: Failed to retrieve metadata for one object version.
  • Object Metadata Lookup for the affected keys in StorageGRID return “Not Found”.
  • Attempting bucket deletion from S3 Browser returns error:
