StorageGRID report cache recovery failure after replacement of back-end E-Series controller

Issue

  • During replacement of the E-Series back-end controller in either SG56xx or SG57xx StorageGRID appliances, the replacement controller boots up and reports the following event: Controller cache memory recovery failed after power cycle or reset.
  • This event will trigger an AutoSupport auto generated case indicating cached data may have been lost.
