Issue

Customer is unable to complete decommission of storage node

Decommissioning is stuck in stage "Running Cassandra Node Decommission" with following error message in the bycast.log

ERROR [HintsDispatcher:1341] 2025-08-13 15:56:50,674 HintsDispatchExecutor.java (line 181) Failed to transfer all hints to /172.1.1.2:7001: 9b181dd4-4000-4fe2-8189-6978df39eba6
