Issue

  • Following error seen in grid manager when attempting to upgrade SANtricity OS on StorageGRID appliance:

SANtricity OS upgrade failed with error while creating SYMbol

  • Admin node'sgdu-server.log reports the following:
ERROR -- gdu-server: SANtricity OS precheck failed with:   ERROR -- Connection error while creating SYMbol connection
