Issue

Rubrik archival jobs targeting NetApp StorageGRID began failing with Internal error FingerprintValidationFailed.

Rubrik UI:

  • StorageGRID reports "Unable to communicate to the Node".
  • var/local/log/servermanager.log of the affected Node has below entries : -

    2026-05-23 02:30:00 +0000 | ldr | ldr ended
    2026-05-23 02:30:38 +0000 | ldr | using jemalloc from /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libjemalloc.so.2
    2026-05-23 02:30:38 +0000 | ldr | ldr starting
    2026-05-23 02:30:43 +0000 | ldr | ldr ended
  • Object metadata lookup revealed a missing patch file.
