  • StorageGRID does not automatically convert data between binary and ASCII formats during upload or download.
  • Objects are stored and retrieved in their original format.
  • There is no API or feature in StorageGRID for binary/ASCII conversion; any required conversion must be handled by the client application before upload or after download.
  • StorageGRID simply stores and returns data as-is.
