Can not connect StorageGRID fabric pool during StorageGRID upgrade even by using multiple Gateway nodes

Issue

During StorageGRID upgrade, even by using multiple Gateway nodes, the following issues are still encountered.
  • Windows server reports the below bad block error and hang within an iSCSI environment against ONTAP which is using the StorageGIRD as the cloud tier.
Example:

Error 2021/04/24 8:45:12 Disk 7 None The device, \Device\Harddisk7\DR7, has a bad block.

  • ONTAP can not access the fabric pool and reports the below messages at the same time.

Example:

Sat Apr 24 08:45:08 JST [XX:OscHighPriThreadPool: object.store.unavailable:EMERGENCY]: Unable to connect to the object store "XXXX" from nodeXXXX.
