Application team reported deletes taking time in StorageGRID

Issue

  • When the application attempts to delete data from the table, the team noticed that even though the delete command executed successfully, the data remained for a few minutes (approximately 2 minutes) before eventually being removed.
  • However, the data persists in the table even after several minutes, despite the delete command executing successfully.
  • Ideally, in both cases, the data should be deleted immediately upon successful command execution.
