Issue

  • The decommissioning process for StorageGRID Storage Nodes swaps between no progress and error/retrying
  • Login to the Grid Manager.
  • Navigate to Maintenance > Decommission.StorageGRID stuck in progress on Decommissioning Replicated Data due to xfs corruptionStorageGRID stuck in progress on Decommissioning Replicated Data due to xfs corruption
  • The completion percentage of the decommissioning task is progressing slowly or not at all
  • On the Grid Manager, navigate to Support > Grid topology > Primary Admin Node > CMN > Grid Tasks.
  • Check the "Status" and the "% Complete" value of the Storage Node Decommissioning task.
