StorageGRID hotfix fails on a single node due to communication issues with node

Issue

  • The Software update page in Grid Manager shows An error occurred during the most recent StorageGRID hotfix:

  • The Hotfix Installation Progress in Grid Manager page intermittently shows node as Administratively down, disconnected, or unknown:

  • It may intermittently show an error in the Hotfix Install Progress indicating the fingerprint does not match:

  • Alert for Unable to communicate with node is continuously triggered and self-resolves for this node:

  • When and SSH session is attempted from the admin node to the affected node, it shows an issue with the fingerprint for the RSA key:

  • A 500 Internal Server Error will pop up if the hotfix is retried:

  • The Connection State in Grid Manager for the affected node switches from Unknown to Online and back.
