Issue

  • The following error message is observed for one or multiple nodes while updating the SANtricity OS:
Error: Fatal installation failure - SANtricity OS staging failed with: Failed. SANtricity OS staging failed with
return code RETCODE_ERROR.

  • The OS Upgrade can appear to be Complete but the original firmware version revision is still visible:
SANtricity OS Upgrade is not applicable to this node.
