Issue

  • Error was observed while upgrading SANtricity OS via Grid Manager. 
Fatal installation failure - SANtricity OS precheck failed with: RuntimeError: Connection error while executing SYMbol request. API response decode failed. 0 byte response received.

  • Verify 7-segment for both the compute and storage controller. 
  • Verify the SANtricity System manager is accessible.
