Issue

  • SANtricity OS deployment using StorageGRID Manager fails with below error:

  • Primary Admin node logs, /var/local/log/gdu-server.log, gives below error:

E, [2024-09-25T02:16:30.418762 #1858363] ERROR -- gdu-server: Failed to apply SANtricity OS to <Nodename>: Fatal installation failure - SANtricity OS precheck failed with: ConnectionRefusedError: [Errno 111] Connection refused

  • Below steps were performed:
    • Restart the StorageGRID automated upgrade process.
    • Verified eos-system-status is Active on storageGRID node Cli: run-host-command service eos-system-status status
