Issue

  • The network switches connected to the StorageGRID system are repeatedly rebooting after a firmware upgrade.
  • This issue is causing StorageGRID nodes to go into an "Unknown" state, resulting in a loss of communication between nodes.
  • Alerts on StorageGRID:
    • NODE_DOWN-CRITICAL
    • NODE_DOWN-MAJOR
  • Switch Behavior: Repeated reboots observed only on switches connected to StorageGRID nodes.
    • Firmware Upgrade Details: From: 16.0(2h) to 16.0(8f)
