Is CLB service exist when upgrading from StorageGRID 11.5 to 11.6

Applies to

  • End applications using 8082 / 8084 CLB ports
  • Virtual / Hardware appliance gateway nodes
  • StorageGRID 11.5 upgrade to 11.6

Answer

CLB service is still available on StorageGRID 11.6, therefore, the clients are not required to make port changes i.e., switch from CLB to load balancer endpoint.

However, the CLB service is depreciated and will be removed in the future StorageGRID releases.
