GET operations failing during StorageGRID upgrade from 11.7 to 11.8

  • StorageGRID 11.8.0.6 and below
  • StorageGRID 11.7.0.11 and below
  • ONTAP 9 with FabricPool

Issue

  • GET failures were observed from client side during StorageGRID upgrade or applying hotfix
  • bycast.log reports 500 errors:

  • ONTAP reports object.store.unavailable  if this StorageGRID is a part of a FabricPool configuration
