Can StorageGRID's upgrade be stopped for storage nodes that haven't started yet after clicking "Approve all nodes"?

Answer

  • The upgrade can be stopped for nodes with the status Waiting to be approved or Approved and waiting to be upgraded, provided that one of the following buttons is enabled:
    • Unapprove all nodes
    • Unapprove all
    • Unapprove
  • Once a node reaches the Stopping services stage, the Unapprove button becomes disabled, and the upgrade cannot be interrupted.
