Alerts occur during StorageGRID nodes reboots or network maintenance

Issue

  • During the maintenance for StorageGRID or network, if the alarms are not suppressed, several alarms/alerts might be generated such as:
    • CassandraCommunicationError 
    • CassandraRepairServiceNotAvailable
    • CASA - Data Store Status
    • NDDOWN - Node Down
    • NRER - Network Received Errors
  • If AutoSupport is enabled, it will open a technical support case with the error message:CSTARS:StorageGRID Notification from <serial> (CSTAR_ISSUE) ERROR

Example: CSTARS:StorageGRID Notification from xxxxxx (NODE_DOWN-CRITICAL) ERROR
