Answer

  • This is a new feature introduced in version 11.9.0 and earlier, providing additional control at the tenant account level for configuring settings while creating a bucket.
  • Please note that this feature does not enable compliance mode by default.
  • Retention mode, whether Governance or Compliance, must be explicitly enabled at the bucket level. If it is not enabled, the objects will not fall under any retention policy.
