Issue

  • Issue might appear after upgrading StorageGRID from 11.9.0.6 to 11.9.0.7.
  • HIC Link status shows Down or Unsupported; and, Speed and Duplex are Unknown on Grid Manager after StorageGRID upgrade.

HIC port remains down or unsupported on Grid Manager after StorageGRID upgrade

  • Active alert in Grid Manager shows:

Services appliance link down on network port

  • The port is UP in CLI:

# ip-statistics link show

hic4:<BROADCAST,MULTICAST,SLAVE,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc mq master bond0 state UP

  • Received packets graphic on affected ports remains flat showing no incoming traffic
