Deactivating StorageGrid EC Profile when reported it is managing object data

Issue

  • When attempting to deactivate an erasure coding (EC) profile in StorageGRID Grid Manager, the deactivation fails with below error:

500: Internal Server Error : Cannot deactivate Erasure Coding profile [x] because it is managing object data.

  • The EC profile is not participating in any ILM rule.
