Issue

  • StorageGRID Grid Manager reports the following alert:

Storage appliance storage connectivity degraded
There is a problem with one or more connections between the compute controller and storage controller.

  • Single port reporting I/O errors and multipathing failures in base-os-logs/var/log/syslog:

  • No Fibre channel link errors reported in Major Event Log on E-Series controller
