Issue

  • nginx-gw service is in error state on secondary admin node
  • restarting the nginx-gw service does not fix the issue.

nginx-gw -t executed on the affected node CLI fails with:

root@xxxx:~ # nginx-gw -t
nginx: [emerg] SSL_CTX_use_PrivateKey_file("/etc/apache2/ssl.key/custom-server.key") failed (SSL: error:0B080074:x509 certificate routines:X509_check_private_key:key values mismatch) nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx-gw/nginx-gw.conf test failed
