Issue

  • Storage node reporting LDR service in error sate and/or unable to communicate with node alert
  • SSTS with Volume(s) Unavailable and SHLH with Error alarms are detected

  • Input/output error can be found to the specific rangedb(s) by bycast-err.log

ERROR    0300 3898569ec7eba520 CRRM: Unexpected error on stat of /var/local/rangedb/A/p/1E/F7/00sHn5@7FeX0eLvIIKYD: 5, Input/output error

  • I/O error is returned by accessing the rangedb(s)

Example:

# cd /var/local/rangedb/A
# cat volID
cat: volID: Input/output error
#  ls -latr
ls: cannot open directory '.': Input/output error
