Event Summary
StorageGRID reports HighJavaHeapMemoryUsage indicating a high percentage of Java heap space is being used. If the Java heap becomes full, metadata services can become unavailable and client requests can fail.
Validate
- Review the ILM activity on the Dashboard. This alert might resolve on its own when the ILM workload decreases.
- Determine if there is another alert affecting this node. This alert might be resolved when you resolve the other alert
Resolution
Upgrade to the latest StorageGRID 11.5 or StorageGRID 11.6 version as this resolves several issues related to high Java Heap Usage.
