Issue

  • E4000 is connected to SG5800 compute controller using iSCSI.
  • E4000 is connected to SG6100 compute controller using iSCSI.
  • StorageGRID Grid Manager reports the following alert:
Storage appliance storage connectivity degraded
There is a problem with one or more connections between the compute controller and storage controller.
  • From SANtricity System Manager > Hardware > Show Back of Shelf > Controller > Show Settings > Host Ports
Host interface: iSCSI
Host Interface Card(HIC): Baseboard
Channel: 2 
Port: e0b
Link status: Disconnected    
 
  • In ASUP > state-capture-data.txt > ionShow99 > chall 0 reports no connection to affected port(s):
