HIC3 reports DOWN with legacy alarm active after upgrading to StorageGRID 11.9

Issue

  • Following an upgrade to StorageGRID 11.9, a legacy alarm reports DOWN for HIC3 on storage node(s).
    • 2010361112_Hic3_down.png
  • Following a node reboot  running StorageGRID 11.9, HIC3 may also reports as DOWN. 
  • StorageGRID UI may report alert: Storage appliance storage connectivity degraded
  • ifconfig output on affected node(s) show HIC3 is assigned the same IP address as the GRID network (eth0).
