Issue

  • StorageGRID alert reports Cassandra Communication Error
  • Running nodetool status on a storage node from one site reports one node with status DN on other site
  • Storage node with status DN reports all nodes from alternate site(s) with status DN
  • servermanager.log in /var/local/log on affected node reports: 
    • 2025-04-22 22:07:56 +0000 | dynip  | Possible network isolation: Node has no contact with other nodes.
