StorageGRID Gateway Node in Unknown State Due to Grid Network Instability

Issue

  • A StorageGRID software gateway node was reported as being in an “Unknown” state in the Grid manager GUI.
  • Intermittent connectivity was observed on the Gateway Node's Grid Network IP (XX.XX.XX.XX), with inconsistent ping responses and failed SSH access.
  • he Admin Network IP remained consistently reachable via both ping and SSH, indicating the issue was isolated to the Grid Network interface.
