Issue

  • Support > Tools > Metrics > ILM records high ILM delete queues and maxing out per node causing slow object deletions.
    • Max 150K per node in 11.9 or earlier
    • Max 300K per node in 12.0 and later
  • Prometheus metric storagegrid_private_ilm_awaiting_delete_objects shows ILM queues are clearing slowly overtime and maxing back out.
  • No current latency or client performance impacts observed.
