StorageGRID Newly Added Node Not Visible in Primary Admin Node UI After Successful Expansion

Issue

  • After adding a new node to an existing StorageGRID environment, the node is visible and reported as connected from the non-primary Admin Node, but is not displayed in the Primary Admin Node UI.
  • The Expansion page shows no pending or approved nodes. However, the dashboard continues to display "Maintenance procedure in progress"

  • gpt-list-services reports the newly added node with an E status:

<Nodename> xx.x.x.xx   E  16094316  SSM  10

  • Several nodes display an Unknown state on the Primary Admin Node UI dashboard, while the same nodes appear in a Connected state on the Nodes page. The non-primary Admin Node does not report any nodes in an Unknown state on the dashboard. 
  • The Primary Admin Node reports a lower node count than the non-primary Admin Node, with the newly added node not reflected in the total count.​‌
