StorageGRID reported alert Unable to communicate to the Node after CMOS Battery replacement

Issue

  • After a CMOS battery fault was reported on StorageGRID appliance node the CMOS battery was replaced.
  • Following the replacement, the GRID reported alert "Unable to communicate to the Node".
  • The storage node’s bond0 and bond1 files shows a mismatch between the bonded hic port

bond0 (grid network) – hic2 reports “operkey” is 310 while hic4 reports “operkey” is 309
bond1 (client network) – hic1 reports “operkey” is 309 while hic3 reports “operkey” is 310
