StorageGRID Appliance compute controller needs attention due to PSU failure on SG6160 SG110 and SG1100

  • StorageGRID 11.9.x, 11.8.x, 11.7.x
  • SG6160, SG110, and SG1100.

Issue

  • Grid Manager shows alert:
    • Appliance compute controller needs attention
    • Appliance storage controller hardware issue
    • Appliance compute controller power supply A has a problem
    • Appliance compute controller power supply B has a problem
  • BMC UI does NOT show any issues with PSU.
  • No PSU failure alert is triggered in Grid Manager.
  • /var/local/log/bycast.log shows:
