vCenter task for SCV restore job gets stuck at 80% due to name resolution issue

Applies to

• SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere (SCV) 6.0
• DNS A record for the IP address of the cluster management LIF was recently changed

Issue

• NetApp Restore task for SCV restore job in Recent Tasks pane of vSphere Client gets stuck at 80%
• The cancel icon of the task is grayed out
• vmcontrol_<JOB_ID>.log shows error:
