  • SnapCenter Plug-in for Microsoft SQL Server (SCSQL)

Answer

  • This certificate is created when SC pushes the SCSQL software to the plug-in host
  • It is checked as part of the backup workflow and if deleted, the backup on that host will fail with the error in the Job Details:

Scheduled ob is not triggered on host(s) 'host_FQDN' either because of the host(s)being not reachable or schedules not active

  • In the SC UI Hosts view, the status will be Services not running
