Unable to add the second Snapcenter server host to the High Availability cluster

  • SnapCenter High Availabilty (HA)

Issue

  • After configuring the SC cluster and adding the master host, unable to add the second host to the cluster
  • When running the PowerShell (PS) command Add-SmServer get the error:

Failed to Add Server. Error: Current SC server <IP_address> is part of HA cluster <IP_address>

  • Unable to connect to the URL https://localhost:8145/smcorecacheservice from a web browser from the SC hosts
