Timezone of backups start time in More Objects is different from SCV setting

Applies to

  • SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere (SCV) 4.3 or later
  • NetApp Data Broker (NDB)
  • vCenter Server Appliance (vCSA)

Issue

  • When seeing VM backups from the More Objects tab in vSphere Client, the time zone of the backups start time is UTC.

Example:

  • Even after changing the time zone setting of SCV via SCV GUI (https://<SCV-IP>:8080), the above time zone is not changed.
