  • NetApp SnapCenter Plug-in for SQL Server (SCSQL)
  • SQL Server configured with Availability Groups (AG)
  • Environments with multiple backup policies for SQL instance and AG

Issue

After the retention period expires, snapshots created for the SQL Server Availability Group (AG) are not automatically deleted from the storage volume. This occurs especially after AG failover events between nodes.
