SnapCenter's Oracle Plug-in fails to run pre and post scripts, despite full access

SnapCenter Plug-in for Oracle (SCO) 4.9 and higher

Issue

When attempting to run a backup with SCO that uses scripts, while deployed with a sudoer user, the  sc_command_executor is used to check the scripts directory using the root account. The resulting error is:
Run pre scripts failed to execute. Pre script exited with script error code: -1,  or
Run post scripts failed to execute. Post script exited with script error code: -1,   followed by:
script error message:  SPL-00010: Script directory /var/opt/snapcenter/spl/scripts does not exist.
