Issue

  • SnapCenter remote restore or clone operation across ESXi hosts fail with error Failed to Map virtual disk: Invalid datastore path.
  • The error can be found in the SMCore.log and VirtualizationAPI.log on the destination Windows host: 

ErrorMessage (An error occured while cloning RDM based disk. Failed to Map virtual disk: Invalid datastore path '[SQL_DBs] SQL1/SQL1_SD_svm1.demo.netapp.com_xxxx-xxxx_x.vmdk'. Error: Failed to map virtual disk on Esx host after retrying.)
