Issue

  • Upgrade for SnapCenter Plug-in is failing:

ERROR SnapManagerWeb_11445 PID=[8496] TID=[150] Exception in method: InvokeXML.
System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it <IP_Address>:8145

  •  Failure occurs both when deploying from SnapCenter GUI and when running the installer manually in silent mode:

Outgoing Network LAN Manager (NTLM) traffic is disabled. Enable NTLM traffic from local security policy settings to validate the credentials and proceed with installation.
ERROR: The specified service credentials is not valid. Provide valid service credentials.
ERROR: The password must not include the special character '\\'. Ensure the password complies with this requirement.
Action 'CA_Abort_Install' returned status 0x80070643 ExitCode: 1603
