SnapCenter fails to create or update backup schedules on Windows plug-in hosts

Issue

While creating a new backup schedule or editing an existing schedule, SnapCenter fails to create or update the schedule on the target Windows plug-in host(s).
 
The following error is displayed:
 
Failed to create or modify schedules. Error:Scheduling Job on Host failed. Please check credentials : <Hostname>, reason : The task XML contains a value which is incorrectly formatted or out of range. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80041318)
