SnapCenter cannot auto-discover SAP HANA plugin after 4.8 Update on Linux host

Issue

The SnapCenter plugin discovery fails with this error message after updating the SnapCenter for SAP HANA Plugin to 4.8:
SCC-00155: Auto Discovery for plug-in [hana] failed with error [The HANA instance is not found on this host. The HANA instance is not found on this host.] and exit code [-1]. Exiting.
