SnapCenter Restore Job Fails to Mount Clone Filesystem: “The connection to the specified remote host was refused”

Issue

Attempts to restore a database using SnapCenter fail when mounting the clone filesystem to a remote Windows cluster node. The following errors are observed in SnapCenter job logs and the Windows Event Log:

SnapCenter job log:

2026-03-02T15:14:44.2628393+00:00 ERROR SCW_62638 PID=[8824] TID=[128]: Failed to mount the clone filesystem. Details: Connecting to remote server <Remote server name> failed with the following error message: The connection to the specified remote host was refused. Verify that the WS-Management service is running on the remote host and configured to listen for requests on the correct port and HTTP URL. Windows Event Log:

 Microsoft-Windows-WinRM Event id: 10149: The WinRM service is not listening for WS-Management requests.
