Issue

When attempting to perform SnapCenter backups with replication to a secondary Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP system via SnapMirror, the following error is encountered:

ErrorCode(-1), ErrorMessage(Unable to find SnapMirror destination(s). Error: No SnapMirror relationships were found. Resolution: Please make sure that secondary storage systems are registered and host can resolve them correctly.)

Relevant log excerpt from SMCore log:

API invoke failed: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. [::ffff:10.10.10.10]:443 (10.10.10.10:443)
  • Manual SnapMirror updates succeed.
  • Both source and destination clusters and SVMs are visible in SnapCenter.
  • DNS resolution and basic network connectivity tests (including port 443) are successful.
  • The error persists even after disabling IPv6 on the SnapCenter server’s network adapter.
