SnapCenter 4.9P1 to 5.0P2 upgrade fails with "SnapCenter Schema Creation Failed"

Issue

  • During the upgrade of SnapCenter from 4.9P1 to 5.0P2, the upgrade fails and displays the following error:

ERROR: SnapCenter Schema Creation Failed.  Check the DotMigrate logs in the Windows Temp folder for more details.

  • After aborting the upgrade after the failure, SnapCenter is no longer accessible or functional because the incorrect MySQL version is now installed.
