SCW install error: The minimum .NET framework version required on the host is v4.7.2

Issue

  • Attempts to add or upgrade a host using the SnapCenter UI fails with the error:
1. The minimum .NET Framework version required on the host is v4.7.2. Install or upgrade .Net Framework (v4.7.2 or later) version on the <HOSTNAME>.
2. The required PowerShell version 7.4.2 is not available on <HOSTNAME>. Install or upgrade the PowerShell to 7.4.2 and restart the host.
3. The minimum .NET version required on the host is v8.0.12. Install or upgrade the ASP.NET Core Hosting Bundle (v8.0.12 or later) version on the <HOSTNAME>.
4. Checking for Blocked Firewall Ports failed on host <HOSTNAME>.Exception: The network path was not found. 
.NET Framework: Minimum version 4.7.2. Install or upgrade to .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later.
  • Microsoft ASP.NET Core Hosting Bundle version 8.0.12 or later is installed on the plugin host.
  • PowerShell version is 4.7. 2 or later.
  • TCP port 445 is accessible bi-directionally between SnapCenter Server and host.
  • SCW RunAs account is part of the local admins group on the host.
