SCW install error: The minimum .NET framework version required on the host is v4.7.2

Issue

  • Attempts to add or upgrade a host using the SnapCenter UI fails with the error:
1. The required PowerShell version 4.0 is not available on chvsap27.saplonza.net. Install or upgrade the PowerShell to 4.0 and restart the host.
2. The minimum .NET framework version required on the host is v4.7.2. Install or upgrade the .NET framework on chvsap27.saplonza.net and restart the host.
3. Checking for Blocked Firewall Ports failed on host chvsap27.saplonza.net.Exception: The network path was not found.
  • Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.7.2 or later is installed on the plugin host.
  • PowerShell version is 4.0 or later.
  • No blocked firewall.
  • SCW RunAs account is part of the local admins group on the host.
