Applies to

  • SnapCenter Plug-in for Microsoft Windows (SCW)
  • Fibre Channel (FC) LUN backed up by SCW needs to be cloned
  • The destination cluster does not have FC ports

Issue

  • SCW File System Clone from backup from Mirror copies or Vault copies fails.
  • Cloning Resources task shown in Job Details fails with error:

Failed to clone resources, error isMount operation failed with error Failed to mount storage resource, error is None of the host initiators <INITIATOR> are logged into the controller. Resolution: Please make sure the supplied inititators are logged in.,
