Issue

  • Attempting to mount a datastore fails with:

RROR mbrscv --- [ Thread-1204] c.n.a.m.NfsMountStrategy : vob.vmfs.nfs.mount.error.connect.failed:NFS mount
<Inacccessible_IP>:/Sc5acb38e6-d87e-43ee-97bf-477526982a9d failed: Unable to connect to NFS server.

  • The used IP does not have network access to the ESXi host
  • The SVM owns LIFs that are accessible
